Takedown Policy
Taksha respects copyright and intellectual property rights. If you believe content on Taksha violates your rights, please submit a takedown request using the process below.
1. What to include in your notice
- Your identity and contact details (name, address, email, phone).
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The exact URL or location on Taksha where the infringing content appears.
- A statement of your good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights owner or an authorised agent.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Where to send the notice
Email: info@taksha.education — use the subject line "Takedown Request".
3. Process
- We will acknowledge a valid notice within 48 hours of receipt.
- After review, we will remove or restrict the content within 7 working days if the claim is valid.
- We will notify the uploader and give them an opportunity to file a counter-notice.
4. Counter-notice
If your content was removed by mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same email address with your reasoning and proof of rights.
5. False claims
Materially false takedown notices may result in legal action under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
